In the wake of
#MeToo movement in India, writer
Vinta Nanda took to
Facebook to share her #MeToo story with the world. In the post, she said that actor
Alok Nath raper her.
The matter was in the session court, Dindoshi, and the result of which is out. Alok Nath has been granted pre-arrest bail. The court stated that the possibility cannot be ruled out that he has falsely been enrobed in the crime.
Now, Vinta has questioned the Court's decision and made a statement about the matter. In an interview, Vinta said that she respects the decision of the Court grating Alok Nath anticipatory bail. She believes in the law of the land. She said like all other culprits he also denied the allegations against him. She further added that in his application for anticipatory bail, Alok Nath tried to mislead the court by cooking up stories, which are completely false and untrue. Nanda clarified each point by which Nath and his team tried to mislead the court, through an intervention made by her lawyers. Also, she is grateful that her reply was accepted and put on record.
She said everyone who personally know of them also know the truth and facts won't change. Though she is fighting alone in the court, but CINTAA, her family know what the truth is. She also stated CINTAA also expelled the actor not just because of her incident but due to multiple incidents.
She questioned if Sandhya Mridul, Navneet Nishan, Himani Shivpuriji, Deepika Amin and many other women who have still not gathered the courage to speak about their story openly because of him are lying and its only Alok Nath who is telling the truth?
